1. Who We Are

CannabisLoungeCA.com is a directory and event platform for licensed cannabis consumption lounges in California, operated by J Williams Designs. We connect adults 21+ with licensed venues — we are not a cannabis retailer, dispensary, or delivery service.

2. What We Collect

We collect the following categories of personal information:

• Account information — your email address when you create an account, sign up for the waitlist, or log in.
• Claim submissions — name, email address, phone number, business role, and attestation data submitted when claiming a lounge listing.
• RSVP information — name and email when you RSVP to an event.
• Usage data — pages visited, session duration, referring pages, and browser/device type, collected via Google Analytics 4 (GA4, property ID: G-TQ1TKZ4R06).
• IP address and server logs — captured automatically by our hosting infrastructure (Vercel) and database provider (Supabase) as part of normal operations.

We do not collect or store payment information. All payment processing is handled directly by Stripe.

3. How We Use Your Data

• To operate your account and provide platform functionality (directory browsing, RSVPs, lounge dashboard).
• To process and review lounge claim submissions.
• To send RSVP confirmations and event-related communications.
• To analyze site traffic and improve the platform using aggregated, anonymized usage data.
• To detect and prevent fraud or unauthorized access.

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for their marketing purposes.

4. Cookies and Analytics

We use Google Analytics 4 (GA4) to understand how visitors use our site. GA4 places persistent cookies on your device (including _ga and _ga_*). You can opt out using the Google Analytics Opt-Out Browser Add-on.

Supabase places session cookies required for account authentication. These are strictly necessary and cannot be disabled without breaking login functionality.

5. Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored with Supabase, Inc. (PostgreSQL database hosted in the United States). Supabase maintains SOC 2 Type II compliance. We use row-level security policies to restrict data access. Passwords are never stored — we use magic-link email authentication only.

6. Data Retention

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. Lounge claim records are retained for the duration of the listing relationship plus a reasonable period thereafter. You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by contacting us.

7. Your Rights (California Residents — CCPA/CPRA)

California residents have the right to:

• Know what personal information we collect and how it is used.
• Request a copy of the personal information we hold about you.
• Request deletion of your personal information, subject to certain exceptions.
• Correct inaccurate personal information.
• Opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information. (We do not sell personal information.)
• Non-discrimination for exercising these rights.

8. Age Restriction

This platform is strictly for adults 21 years of age or older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from persons under 21. If you believe we have inadvertently collected information from a minor, contact us immediately and we will delete it.

9. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party service providers, each subject to their own privacy practices:

• Supabase, Inc. — database hosting and authentication
• Stripe, Inc. — payment processing (lounge subscription billing)
• Google LLC — analytics (GA4)
• Vercel, Inc. — hosting and edge delivery

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy periodically. Material changes will be reflected in an updated effective date at the top of this page. Continued use of the platform after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised policy.
